Welcome to my classic rock sale! All this weekend and coming week (Dec 13-20), I'll be listings dozens of titles from the 60s-90s, almost all in top collector shape. Please check my other listings and shop around, I'm happy to combine shipping and guarantee satisfaction with your transaction. Happy holidays!

Artist: The Velvet Underground & Nico
Title:  The Velvet Underground & Nico
Label/Cat #: Verve V-5008 mono silver/blue label
Year: 1967

Condition vinyl: STRONG VG no major digs or gouges here, just a handful of light surface marks on both sides. Retains almost all surface sheen with clean wear-free labels; plays with stray spots of unobtrusive background noise (predictably noticed more between tracks or at quieter moments) but is overall a really strong listen!
Condition cover: VG likewise, not a perfect copy, but more than respectable. Banana is all there but as you can see the stem has been relocated. One other small tear to the uppermost left corner of the banana sticker (be careful sliding into plastic storage sleeve!). Some age / storage / shelf wear but mostly a clean, slightly yellowed white front. Spine shows some foxing along top edge (if looking at it square on); corners are slightly worn but not destroyed. Clean interior gatefold. Similar issues on the back. Black sticker shows impression / storage wear and partial bottom ring can be seen below band shots.

Comments: One of the most justifiable canon pieces of 60s rock in an original rare mono issue that plays well and presents admirably - know what you're buying and LOVE IT.

Thank you for browsing and again please check my other listings for more rare 45s and LPs in many genre. If you have any questions please ask. I pride myself on honest grading and helpful communication.

Grading: Records are graded conservatively on a scale of: NM (rarely applied to a used record, must look absolutely pristine), EX (a true top copy worthy of any collection with 1 or 2 truly minor imperfections), VG+ (a minimal amount of marks may be seen under bright light with none deep enough to significantly effect playback), VG (perfectly good playing copy but may show slightly more than minimal marks with 1 or 2 maximum being feelable), VG- (still an eminently listenable record that will show numerous superficial and possibly several more impacting marks), G (will play through but could be a "noisy" listen the result of numerous surface marks of various severities).
