THE VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO--Self-titled VG/VG+ Mono 1967 Album--on Verve (jacket has peelable banana sticker on front and black sticker on back with album title/and name and Andy Warhol credit--there is no torso on back cover)--the group's leader, lead guitarist, and backup vocalist is Lou Reed, who composed or co-composed all the album's songs--the album's producer is Andy Warhol, who did the jacket cover artwork
This is the LP, THE VELVET UNDERGROUND AND NICO
(Verve V-5008--mono--1967).
- CONDITION: Record: VG (very shiny, with very fine scratches and scuffs); Gatefold Jacket: VG+ (it looks like the banana sticker was once pulled off and put back in exact same spot; top of sticker is torn across [see picture below]; an attempt was made to remove the sticker on the back as the edges of it are largely torn off and the sticker itself is in poor condition [see picture below]; otherwise slight ring wear to outside front and back; no other flaws; corners and edges excellent).
