A much sought after edition of this classic album in very respectable condition!
First released in 1967, The Velvet Underground & Nico was a sonic revolution that fused gritty street realism with avant-garde experimentation. Produced by Andy Warhol and featuring vocals from German singer Nico, this album pushed lyrical boundaries, tackling themes of addiction, sexuality, and urban isolation - all while introducing a minimalist, noise-driven sound that would go on to influence generations. Though largely ignored upon its initial release, the album became a cornerstone of alternative music, revered today as one of the greatest and most influential records of all time!)

HISTORY
Few albums have left a deeper mark on rock music than The Velvet Underground & Nico - a raw, radical fusion of art and sound that shattered boundaries and reshaped underground culture. Produced by Andy Warhol and featuring German chanteuse Nico, this 1967 debut is a sonic collision of garage rock, avant-garde noise, and striking lyrical realism, touching on taboo themes like addiction, sexuality, and urban alienation.
Featuring classics like Heroin, I'm Waiting for the Man, and Sunday Morning, this record pairs Lou Reed's pop instincts with John Cale's experimental edge and Moe Tucker's stripped-back percussion - all wrapped in Warhol's iconic banana sleeve. Ignored on release, now revered: this is the album that launched a thousand bands.
