THE VELVET UNDERGROUND: Third Album This is NOT a REISSUE! Apparently there were originally three US issues of this LP pressed. The first was an MGM Yellow label promo pressed in 1969. The second was this LP, MGM SE-4617 also pressed in 1969. The third LP was pressed in 1970 on the MGM GAS-131 label. This one is the rarest behind the promo of course. I purchased this LP new opened it and played it once and stored it away. About 20 years ago I took the record out of the original cover put it in a rice paper sleeve and then stored it in a completely different sleeve than the cover and then stored the LP behind the original cover in a reseal able Japanese sleeve to avoid RW on the cover. See photo of the white sleeve towards the end of the photos. This is what it was stored in for the last 20 years in a rice paper sleeve.

SHIPPING ON THIS LP WILL BE $10.00! I will ship this in a larger audiophile box with the LP in a totally separate sleeve bubble wrapped. The LP will be housed in a new mofi sleeve. Insurance will be included for what ever the LP sells for with tracking of course.
Grading: Cover M- still in original shrink or what I call POLY WRAP which is what the older LP's used to come in. The ploy wrap is not as durable as the shrink wrap of today. It is more brittle than the shrink wrap and would rip easier. There are a few small tears in the poly wrap that don't detract from the cover. A couple VERY SMALL rubs on the corner of the LP keep it from MINT. With original LP sleeve, not photographed in mint condition.
Record: MINT / M- Very nice. Sounds great. What more can I say! TOP COPY! This will be the only record I list with a reserve.
