Description
THE VELVET UNDERGROUND Up-Tight, Heroin Music, 1990. Made in the U.K.
From my personal collection: This is an LP of an audience recording made La Cave, in Cleveland, Ohio on October 2, 1968. The 5-song setlist is typical for the era, but the playing is about as wicked and incendiary as they got; the show includes an insane 10+ minute workout on Foggy Notion and perhaps the most fiery What Goes On on record. Killer stuff, but heads up, like most live VU recordings (except the Matrix), this is a seriously lo-fi recording. Still a-mazing and a really nice package.

Vinyl is pristine: played once. Record has been stored in a plastic outer sleeve since purchase in 1990. Iconic sleeve is in brilliant shape: no surface wear, no creases or dings. Flaws include a couple small spots of flaking along the top edge, the very beginning of a seam split at the bottom front, and some slight roughness along the opening edge (see detail photos). Really NM-. Tough to find in this condition.

Standard shipping in the U.S. via media mail, faster shipping available on request. International bidders pay actual postage cost for USPS First Class International shipping, unfortunately now quite expensive. The LP will be very carefully packed and shipped, with the vinyl outside the sleeve. Check my feedback here and on Discogs - this record will arrive safely.
