This is an original USA release of WHITE LIGHT WHITE HEAT by THE VELVET UNDERGROUND. This was their second LP and for me the insane feel John Cale placed on this LP was just enough to get him fired. And as a body of work, it is TOTAL GENIUS. I was listening to this album for 25 years  before I finally said to myself "I`ve got this, I now know what this is all about". I love it when an album throws you like that.... No album ever threw me off my stride for longer than this one.
The thick card stock none laminated standard sleeve is typical of the USA in the 1960`s .It has a minimal amount of edge wear and very light ring wear. And slight corner dings. So grades as VERY GOOD +. The original inner sleeve is here and is in excellent condition. The vinyl has retained a lovely really high luster sheen to both sides. There are very light hairlines to both sides of the vinyl but no prominent scratches anywhere on the item.The vinyl plays entirely without skipping sticking or jumps and it plays exceptionally well all the way. A conservative grading of the vinyl would be VERY GOOD PLUS. A rare 49 year old USA pressing  of one of the most important rock groups in the entire history of music.
