A. Mint: Sealed/ never played/unopened
B. Mint minus (M-) New and Possibly never played
C. Near Mint (NM) Like-new, with little or no visible wear; Near Mint minus
D. (NM-): almost like-new, very slight signs of play or wear that are strictly cosmetic. Very nice.
E. Excellent (EX) or Very Good plus-plus (VG++): Way above average, very clean, no serious flaws. Seldom spun. Nice.
F. Very Good plus (VG+): Above average; a few visible surface marks or paper scuffs; minor surface noise. Not bad.
G. Very Good (VG) : An average used LP, several surface marks/light scratches. Noisy but plays through, no skipping .
H. Very Good minus (VG-) : Reveals lots of wear & noise when viewed or played but is not defective or warped. Rough.
