THE VELVET UNDERGROUND WHITE LIGHT/WHITE HEAT SKULL LP

 

   From the tail end of 1967 comes this original stereo vinyl pressing of the Velvet Underground's bone-crushing second LP, White Light/White Heat (Verve V6-5046), complete with black-on-black cover design of the skull tattoo on Billy Name's arm - an effect re-issues have had a hard time replicating.
  The cover is very good plus due to some ring and edge wear in addition to some scratching and scuffing, a small tear in the upper right corner of the front, half-inch seam splits in the top and bottom right-hand corners, a 3" seam split in the center of its top, and some writing (in pencil) in the upper right corner of the back.  The LP itself is very good plus as well.  Lester Bangs would be pleased . . .  
  To protect your investment, this LP - as with all vinyl purchased at The Great Escape Online - will be placed in a new plastic outer sleeve prior to packing and shipping.
