Description

This auction is for the Lp Catch a fire by the Wailers. 

1973 Island pink rim label Pressing - Ilps 9241.

The original matrix no's have been cancelled out which was on side 1 - bml 2001 a 3u and bml 2001 b 4u on side 2 and repaced with ilps 9241 a 3u on side 1 and ilps 9241 b 4u on side 2.

Side 1: Concrete jungle, Slave driver, 400 years, Stop the train, Baby baby we've got a date.

Side 2: Stir it up, Kinky reggae, No more trouble, Midnight ravers.

The vinyl appears to be in very good condition with some very light marks/scratches, I have play tested it and apart from a few seconds of clicking at start of side 1 it plays perfect - this only lasts about 2 or 3 seconds.

The sleeve is Vg- condition - it has a name of a previous owner written on the back and front covers and has a small 2" lighter coloured square on the front cover at the bottom left, the hinge is still intact - just - it has lots of wear around it at the front and back but is holding on for now.It also has some edge wear.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
