Description
My listening equipment is a highly revealing Yamaha PF-800 turntable (equal to a 1990s LP12 – I am not familiar with the modern ones that cost more than a small car), pre/power amps and B&W Matrix Reference speakers. Before listing I always clean LPs on a vacuum record cleaning machine and I always determine audio quality by playing the LP not just by visual inspection. For this LP I have used an Ortofon OM10 MM cartridge.
Played on my system, this LP grades Near Mint. That's the easy bit. The gatefold cover is a little more difficult to describe. It has a ring on the front and on the back similar to the type of rings you get on a wooden sideboard when one inadvertently puts down a hot mug of tea without using a coaster. Please see the close up photos showing them under angled light. I don't know what caused these rings, but the person who printed his name on the inside (see close-up photo) probably does. So, unless you know him, it will remain a mystery. Even with these ring marks the cover looks reasonable under normal domestic lighting.
And did I mention that the vinyl plays Near Mint?
Will be well packaged for safe transit.
