Description

THE WATERBOYS    DREAM HARDER  1993 GEFFEN LP GEF24476

Dream Harder was the last Waterboys album before Mike Scott took a seven year break to pursue solo projects. In fact, although issued under The Waterboys name, the album was actually recorded by Scott with studio musicians and friends. Billy Connolly provides a voice-over on the track "Spiritual City". The music is rockier than much of Scott's previous work, but he still explores folklore and spirituality, particularly in references to the mystical Christianity of C.S.Lewis and an arrangement of W.B.Yeats' poem "Love And Death", as well as including a tribute to Jimi Hendrix.

Tracks: The New Life / Glastonbury Song / Preparing To Fly / The Return Of Pan / Corn Circles / Suffer / Winter Winter / Love And Death / Spiritual City / Wonders Of Lewis / The Return Of Jimi Hendrix / Good News.

Condition: Excellent.
