THE WHO - MY GENERATION. CLASSIC RECORDS. MONO LAT 8616.
LIMITED EDITION 150 GRAMME 2 RECORD SET.
Released in 2006, this classic records 150g vinyl is now out of print. Classic records are known for their dedication to audio reproduction, and press their records direct from the original masters, ensuring their vinyl sounds the way it was meant to be heard, as opposed to other reproductions on both vinyl and CD. The attention to detail on both the packaging and the vinyl is fantastic, and this limited edition comes with a bonus LP containing alternate bonus tracks, such as an a cappella version of "Anytime You Want Me", an instrumental "My Generation", and a cover of "Lubie Come Back Home" amongst others. The cover still has it's original shrink wrap stuck to it, and the records are both unplayed, with only a few of the faintest surface marks from removing them from their inners. The "My Generation" album comes housed in a plain white inner, while the bonus album is in a thick printed inner, with the songs listed on one side along with a few photos, while on the other side it has a reproduction of an acetate label. This album still has the postcard insert from Classic Records, giving the chance to win a Test Pressing upon completion. Its in excellent condition all round, having never been played, and the sleeve is like new. These Classic vinyls are already becoming collectables, as they are gaining a reputation for the quality of their playback. As the heavier pressings are now out of print, they will only become more sought after in the future.

A lot of the versions on this album are previously unreleased, while the "Anyway, Anyhow" version was only ever released on a French E.P.
So, there you have it. A very collectable album containing some rare versions, and one that will only get harder to find.
