Description
This is the SUPER RARE & LEGENDARY very first ever pressing of the very first ever single of The White Stripes.
You will not find a shinier translucent red record than this. ITALY Records #003
The vinyl is pretty much mint but I call all mint records NM.
The sleeve is really excellent. Unlike the repressings, the original sleeve was a thinner paper.
So most naturally have minor wear on the top part where the record slips in. This is normal for this record.
This record is nearly 15 years old. It was released in 1998 and recorded at Jack White's house in Detroit.
I've seen copies of this where the sleeve is tinted yellow due to age or a smoking environment.
But not this baby! This is CLEAN & SHINY.
There's tons of Jack White collectibles out there, but few from a time where they were not meant to be collectibles.
This is not a manufactured collectible. This is the REAL DEAL.
It comes complete with the original George Washington quote insert which does not come in any of the other repressings.
Baseball card collectors would call this THE ROOKIE CARD. This is where it all started!
This listing should be a sign of relief to bidding fans since I'm not listing it with an overinflated
buy-it-now price like most of the rare Jack White-related items have been listed as of late.
The last one I saw on ebay had an asking price of $600.
