Description
This is the original UK LP by THE WHO, THE WHO SELL OUT, RARE 1967 STEREO 1st Press on the lightly textured matt black and silver text TRACK label 613002. Matrix numbers are, SIDE 1:- 613002 A2, SIDE 2:- 613002 B1, along with the lightly textured matt finish label's, identify this as a genuine 1st Pressing. The LP comes with it's original 1967 inner sleeve.
The original 1967 UK 1st issue E.J DAY fully laminated cover, with 'Patents pending' credits is in EX condition, lovely and clean, maintaining all it's original bright vibrant colour, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits, the spine is fully intact and perfectly readable.
The vinyl is in EX+ condition, gleaming with all it's original shine and lustre, I have played the vinyl (very carefully!) and the vinyl plays MINT-!, absolutley Stunning Stereo sound, playing with super crisp clarity. delivering a sumptous warmth and depth. The quality of this RARE original 1967 Stereo 1st Pressing is MAGNIFICANT!. This is such a innotative LP, one might say extremely brave, but THE WHO pull it off with such pinache and charisma. Regarded as a mock concept LP, its contains the sublime 'I CAN SEE FOR MILES' and the spiralling piece of neo-psychedelia that had a spiritual partner in the equally trippy 'ARMENIA CITY IN THE SKY', together with mock adevrtisement (in spoken voice) for Heinz baked beans among others, gives this such true Englishness about it, SIMPLY A WONDERFUL LISTENING EXPERIENCE!.
The lightly textured matt finsihed TRACK label's are in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean, maintaining all their original colour, their is no unwanted writing and no scuffs, the spindle hole area shows minimal wear.
The vinyl is housed in it's original 1967 UK 1st issue inner sleeve and in EX+++ condion, lovely and clean, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits.
