This is the original UK LP by THE WHO, WHO'S NEXT, 1971 Stereo 1st Pressing on the matt black TRACK label 2408 102, complete with its very 1st issue cover and Rare HEADHUNTERS inner sleeve
Matrix numbers are, Side 1:- 2408102 A#1, Side 2:- 2408102 B#2
'MG 12888' is etched in the dead wax run-off area on Side 1, this is 'THE' ULTIMATE Stereo cut, THE BEST you can get!
Stamped matrix numbers and the etched 'MG 12888' Super Stereo Cut, indentify this as a Stereo very 1st pressing.
The original 1971 UK 1st issue MacNeill Press matt finished cover is in a EX condition, lovely and clean, maintaining all it's original bright vibrant colours, their are no major scuffs, no sticker marks, no unwanted writing, no tears, no rips, no seam splits, the spine is lovely and clean and perfectly readable, only minor storage weat to the seams and corners, stop this cover from being graded higher.
The vinyl is inA STUNNING EX+++ / MINT- condition!!, gleaming with all it's original shine and lustre!, I have played both sides (very carefully!) and the vinyl plays ** MINT- !!! **, even quiet in run-in, run-off areas and inbetween tracks! the vinyl plays with stunning crisp clear clarity, the quality of this 1971 UK Stereo 1st Pressing is TOP TOP QUALITY!, playing with stunning rich tones, warmth and depth!! a great LP and a TRUELY WONDERFUL PLAYING VINYL!!!!!!
The matt black with silver credits TRACK labels are in EX condition!!!, clean, maintaining all their original bright fresh colour, their is no unwanted writing, , the centre spindle hole shows minimal wear!, showing some re-allignment marks and Side 2, however the previous owner must of used a top class stylus and taken great care in handling the vinyl once on its turntable, such great condition!, with is the glossy fresh 'just pressed' finish to the vinyl!
The vinyl is housed in it's original 1971 UK 1st issue RARE 'Polydor' HEADHUNTERS polythene lined inner sleeve and in a STUNNING MINT- condition!, Super clean and fresh, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits, SUPERB example of this RARE inner sleeve, which was only issued to 'Polydor' under licence LP's between 1969 -1971, and only came with approxiamtely 5% of issued LP's, SO RARE!
Altogther a GREAT example of this RARE 1971 UK 1st Press Stereo LP by THE WHO, SO SO HARD TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION!, EX+++ / MINT- VINYL, and the Stereo is blistering!, SIT BACK AND PLAY IT LOAD!
