THE WHO A Quick One UK 1ST PRESS REACTION 593002 A//2 B//1 VG+
Scarce UK first pressing on Reaction with early matrices and original inner
Description:
Original UK first pressing of A Quick One by The Who, released in 1966 on the Reaction label, catalogue number 593002.
This is a correct UK first pressing featuring the blue Reaction labels with “Made in England” text and original Polydor distribution credit. The matrices are machine stamped 593002 A//2 and 593002 B//1, confirming an early first issue.
The sleeve is the original front laminated flipback cover with “Mono 593002” printed on the rear. Also included is the original UK polylined inner sleeve, date coded R.S. 5-68, a correct period inner.
A complete and desirable UK first pressing.
Matrix: 593002 A//2 / 593002 B//1
Label: Reaction (blue)
Catalogue Number: 593002
Pressing: UK – 1st pressing
Sleeve: Original laminated flipback

Condition:
The record is in VERY GOOD PLUS condition. The vinyl retains a nice gloss with light surface marks visible under strong light but nothing feelable. Playback remains strong overall with only occasional light background in quieter sections.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD PLUS condition. The front laminate presents well with good gloss and strong colours. There is no splitting to the top edge. The spine shows wear with some cracking and rubbing. There is a small tear at the rear opening edge and general edge and corner wear consistent with age.
The original polylined inner sleeve is in EXCELLENT condition with light creasing but no splits.
