Matrix : 613006 A-2 / A-2 handetched Issue : UK Original Press
This is a UK Original press of ‘Direct Hits' by The Who. This press has plain flat black Track labels, complete with the original polylined inner sleeve and laminated Ernest J Day sleeve.
The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl has a sensational gloss, it is still jet black and the grooves show no sign of heavy play at all. There are just a few light wispy marks and a couple of small marks.
On playing the sound is Very Good, warm, rich and vibrant. There are moments of slight noise and a couple of light clicks but it has Excellent clarity and separation throughout and can be enjoyed from start to finish.
The black label is in Excellent condition. The label is completely clean, the black is bold, the yellow is bright and the text is sharp. There is just the very slightest spindle wear. The record is complete with its original polylined inner sleeve.
The laminated sleeve is in Very Good condition. The laminate is bright and glossy. The colours are bold and the pictures are sharp. The rear of the sleeve has a corner crease and very slight ring wear but it is completely clean. The sleeve is solid and the pinched spine is firm with sharp text.
