On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Who called "Live At Leeds" and is an ORIGINAL 1970 UK 1st Pressing on 1st Press 'Custom' Track labels!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST WHO LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  IT IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs ON THE TRACK LABEL - AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  IT IS ALSO 100% COMPLETE - WITH NO PARTS MISSING AT ALL!!!

NOW BEFORE I GET ANY EMAILS, OR PEOPLE BIDDING, WINNING AND 'PRETENDING TO BE SHOCKED' (BORING!) - THE VERY FIRST FEW 'PRE-RELEASE' 1ST PRESSINGS OF THIS LP CAME WITH 'BLACK TEXT' ON THE COVER FRONT, AND NATURALLY THESE ARE EXTREMELY RARE.  HOWEVER, AT THE TIME OF RELEASE THESE WERE QUICKLY DISCONTINUED - AND REPLACED WITH THE 'BLUE TEXT' AND 'RED TEXT' COVERS WHICH WERE AVAILABLE THROUGHOUT THE 1970s. SO APART FROM THE 'PRE-RELEASE' BLACK PRINT COVERS (MENTIONED ABOVE) - IT IS VITALLY IMPORTANT TO SHOW EXACTLY WHAT MAKES THIS A 100% GENIUNE UK 1ST PRESSING!!!!  AND THIS ONE DEFINITELY IS A 100% GENIUNE UK 1ST PRESSING FROM 1970 - AND IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TO ALL LATER PRESSINGS!!!!  AND THIS IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  THIS LP WAS ONLY MADE LIKE THIS IN THE 'YEAR OF RELEASE' ONLY (AROUND 6 MONTHS) - AND THERE ARE SO MANY DIFFERENCES ON THIS 1970 UK 1ST PRESSING, WHICH ALL LATER PRESSINGS SIMPLY NEVER HAD!!!!  I WILL NOW EXPLAIN EVERY SINGLE DIFFERENCE IN DETAIL:- 

FIRSTLY (AND MOST OBVIOUSLY) THE GATEFOLD COVER HAS THE DARKEST 'BLUE' PRINT ON THE COVER FRONT AND ON THE INSIDE (LATER 1970s ISSUES HAD MUCH PALER PRINT!)!!!!  SECONDLY THE VINYL IS THICK (LATER ONES ARE NOTICEABLY THINNER), 'SQUARE EDGED' (LATER ONES ARENT!), AND THE MATRIX ENDINGS ARE THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' - BEING A//1 B//1 (LATER ONES ARENT!)!!!!  AND THIRDLY THE LP IS 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS 'FULL SET' OF INSERTS - INCLUDING THE ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESS 'MARQUEE' POSTER (LATER ONES SAID 'LIVE AT LEEDS' INSTEAD!!!!  SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE, AND DEFINITELY FROM THE YEAR OF RELEASE BACK IN 1970!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION - HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL, AND IS STILL A VERY VERY DECENT EXAMPLE INDEED!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1970 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'CUSTOM' TRACK LABELS, 1ST PRESS A//1 B//1 MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS FULL SET OF 12 INSERTS (INCLUDING THE ULTRA RARE 'MARQUEE' POSTER'!), 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD 'BLUE PRINTED' GATEFOLD COVER!!!!  THIS INCREDIBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Track UK 1st Pressing from 1970 and is in GREAT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is 2406 001 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Track 'Custom' labels (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!  All the tracks are pure quality Who at their best!!!! Any fan of The Who, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in GREAT condition (and would be SUPERB - apart from 1 NON SOUNDING detail below!)!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  There is also some noticeable bag sweat traces on 1 side ONLY (these are NOT from any wear - this is simply from long term storage ONLY!) - and even though they do NOT sound AT ALL, they of course must be mentioned!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED LOOK'!!!!  It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some EXTREMELY low level background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  Without the NON SOUNDING 'bag sweat' traces this record would EASILY grade Very Good++++ if not FULL Excellent!!!!  However even though these are completely NON SOUNDING - I will downgrade the record to Very Good - though the playing grade is WELL in excess of this, and this record plays BRILLIANTLY!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE ULTRA RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS INSERTS ARE IN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION (SEE PICTURES!) - APART FROM A FEW STORAGE CREASES TO THE POSTER (IT HAS NEVER BEEN HUNG ON A WALL!)!!!!  STILL A BRILLIANT SET OF INSERTS!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press Gatefold 'Blue Printed' Cover is in GREAT condition - with only a few detail to note!!!!  It has NO sticker marks, only VERY slight edge wear, NO sticker tears, only VERY slight spinal wear, barely ANY yellowing, only slight corner wear, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, PERFECT Blue print, NO grubbyness AT ALL, only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the inside of the cover is in GREAT condition with NO grubbyness, NO writing, NO rubbing, PERFECT red print, NO ringwear, NO yellowing, and BOTH pouches on either side are in PERFECT condition with NO damage AT ALL!!!!  However as you can see from the pictures - there are a few small repairs on the inside opening edges - though these are quite minor and CANNOT be seen from the outside!!!!  Even the staples are COMPLETELY UNSTRESSED and 100% firmly in place has they have been from NEW!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good(Minus) (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not Very Good - and is still a very VERY decent cover indeed!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE (ESPECIALLY 100% COMPLETE LIKE THIS ONE IS!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
