On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Who called "Quadrophenia" and is an ORIGINAL 1973 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Track labels!!!!  THIS LP IS EXTREMELY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND AS A GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING (ESPECIALLY IN THIS AMAZING CONDITION)!!!!  THIS LP WAS PRESSED THROUGHOUT THE 1970s AND THEREFORE IT MAKES IT VITAL TO ESTABLISH A GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING.  I WILL EXPLAIN THE 1ST PRESS DETAILS BELOW:

FIRSTLY THIS LP HAS FLAT 'MATT' TRACK LABELS WITH NO RIDGE RUNNING AROUND THE EDGE OF LABELS (LATER PRESSINGS FROM 1974 ONWARDS HAVE A THICK RIDGE AROUND THE EDGE OF THE LABELS, AND MUCH LATER PRESSINGS FROM 1975 ONWARDS HAVE 'SHINY' TRACK LABELS ASWELL).  THESE LABELS HAVE EXACTLY THE SAME DEEP BLACK COLOUR AND FEEL AS ANY 1960s TRACK LABEL (LATER PRESSINGS AS STATED ABOVE DO NOT).  SECONDLY THE VINYL IS THICK, QUALITY AND 'SQUARED EDGED' (LATER PRESSINGS ARE MUCH THINNER AND HAVE THINNER CHEAPER EDGES TO THE VINYL).  THIRDLY THE INNER SLEEVES ARE GENIUNE 1ST PRESS INNERS WITH CLEAR 'POLYTHENE' LINING AND A DIE CUT CENTRE HOLE WHICH FITS EXACTLY AROUND THE LABELS (LATER PRESSINGS HAVE INNERS WITH SMALLER DIE CIT CENTRES, AND THE PLASTIC LINING USED IS NOT CLEAR).  AND LASTLY THE MATRIXES ARE THE EARLIEST POSSIBLE - BEING A//1 B//1 A//1 & B//2 (THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESS MATRIXES)!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS DOUBLE LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY AWESOME CONDITION - AND IT IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND A GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING IN THIS SORT OF CONDITION!!!!  THIS IS THE 1973 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS FLAT 'MATT' TRACK LABELS, 1ST PRESS MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVES, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD COVER WITH 'STAPLED IN' 22 PAGE BOOKLET!!!! THIS LP IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN THIS AMAZING CONDITION AS A GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the original Track UK 1st pressing from 1973 and is in AWESOME condition!!!! The Cat. No is 2657 013 on the 1st Press Track Labels (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Who at their best!!!! Any fan of The Who, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels on BOTH records are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THESE RECORDS HAVE BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in AWESOME condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and BOTH records have NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  BOTH RECORDS STILL RETAIN THEIR ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOK AWESOME!!!!  It is great to find that the records play as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and NO crackle!!!! The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! BOTH records must grade Excellent++ if not better!!!! WHAT AN AWESOME SET OF RECORDS!!!!  Believe me these records are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The records also come in their ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeves which are both in SUPERB condition!!!!  The 1st Press Gatefold Cover with 'Stapled-in' 22 Page Booklet is in AWESOME condition!!!! The Cover has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, barely ANY corner wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour), barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is AMAZINGLY flat looking), NO rubbing AT ALL (MEGA rare on this cover), NO ringwear AT ALL, and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in AWESOME condition with NO wear, NO grubbyness, NO writing, and NO yellowing!!!! The 'Stapled-in' 22 Page Booklet is in AWESOME condition with NO creases, NO rips, NO tears and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Excellent++++ if not better!!!! AWESOME COVER!!!!  THIS DOUBLE LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND AS A GENIUNE 1ST PRESSING, AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN THIS AMAZING CONDITION -  SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
