** Rare MONO UK A2/B1 1967 TRACK 1st PRESSING copy of THE WHO's 1967 classic vinyl LP "THE WHO SELL OUT". Please note that the original poster is NOT included. Please read the description of the item, and see all photos. **

A Very Good condition disc. Quite a few scuffs and light surface scratches on both sides, most of which can be seen in a strong light, but the vinyl is still shiny and lustrous. Original MONO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, sticking, warps, or writing on labels. A few visible centre spindle marks.

Powerful-sounding MONO mix. Much better sound than the far weaker stereo mix of this LP. Some minor surface noise, in places, and a few clicks on Side 2 Tracks 4 and 5. Tested on a Thorens turntable.

A Very Good condition sleeve - "printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co.". Some creasing at the top left and bottom left corners (see photos). No writing anywhere. Some general wear, especially to corners. No seam splits. Very little wear to opening edges. Spine in good condition, with all text still fully legible.

Supplied in company inner sleeve with polythene insert with "plastic bags can be dangerous" text. This is in Excellent condition, with no creasing, no writing anywhere and no seam splits.

(Missing original poster).

GRADING:

All records are graded using the UK ‘Record Collector’ format:

MINT (M):

The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
