THE WHO - THE LAST TIME / UNDER MY THUMB 7" SINGLE
ORIGINAL 1967 NOT REISSUE
TRACK RECORDS 604 006
One of the rarest Who singles around and a must for any serious Who collector.
VINYL CONDITION: VG+ there are various marks and light scratches but it plays really nicely, does not jump or skip at all and still sounds great in my opinion. Comes in an aged plain white sleeve which has hand written artist/track info on, done in period.
See photos for condition.
These two Rolling Stones’ songs were recorded by The Who as a gesture of support after Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were jailed on drug charges in 1967. It was their intention to continue recording Jagger/Richards songs for as long as the pair were in jail but they were released before The Who had a chance to record anymore.
My descriptions are visual based on grading as below, wherever possible I will play the record and grade accordingly and state within the listing that it has been played by me. If not stated assume the grading is visual only.
Please see my other listings for more Mod Revival/New Wave/Punk/Metal/Rock vinyl.
All items are posted in proper record mailers. This will be sent tracked/insured for the final sale value.
RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE GRADING:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.  The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
