Description
Recorded in England - Manufactured in the United States, this album was mostly composed by The Who's guitarist, Pete Townshend, a rock opera on 2 LP's that tells a story.
Tommy is the fourth album by The Who. They recorded all 4 sides of this album between September, 1968 to March, 1969. It was released May, 1969.
It includes the original booklet featuring lyrics and evocative drawings and except for the stapled edge being slightly folded over, is in Excellent condition. Please see photos.
The gatefold is unusual in that it rolls open from the reverse.
The LP's Vinyl condition is Excellent+ with glossy luster and shiny vinyl, no scratches or hairlines, but a bit of shadowing on one of four LP sides with no effect to the sound.
The Jacket's condition is Very Good+ with heavy ring wear front + back on the outside, inside ring wear not as pronounced, and age wear on the front. The colors are still vibrant and the pictures are bright and attractive in spite of the ring wear.
