THE WHO. WHO'S NEXT. 1ST PRESS. 2408102 A1/B2 MATRICES. MG 12888 ETCHED IN DEAD WAX ON SIDE 1. MATT BLACK/SILVER TRACK RECORDS LABELS. RARE HEADHUNTERS INNER SLEEVE. UNLAMINATED SINGLE SLIP COVER BY MACNEIL PRESS LTD. VERY GOOD+

 

 

My listening equipment is a highly revealing Roksan Xerxes/Artemiz/Shiraz turntable, pre/power amplification and Castle speakers.

Played on that system this LP grades Very Good+ with some minor background noise between tracks and occasional quiet parts. Side two has some short-lived background noise to the quiet intro of track one. Side two also has a scratch on the final track, but this looks worse than it actually is and only produces the occasional soft click. It comes complete with its original Headhunters inner sleeve in very good condition - these are very rare and valuable. The unlaminated single slip cover by MacNEIL Press Ltd is in excellent condition with no rubbing to the text on the spine.
