Description
The Wild Angels was a cheap 1966 road movie directed by Roger Corman and starring Peter Fonda,Nancy Sinatra, Diane Ladd, and Bruce Dern. The album's soundtrack captures the rebellious, devil-may-care attitude of its lead characters through rock & roll, surf rock, and psychedelia. Most of it is performed by Davie Allan, but there are also songs by the Visitors and the Hands of Time. For Allanaficionados, The Wild Angels is of interest, but only marginally so. While his songs are worthwhile, they're not essential, and only dedicated fans need acquire it. The Wild Angels is also of interest to listeners in search of '60s artifacts, because most of this music vividly evokes its time. It may not have aged particularly well, but its thin production and groovy sounds are certainly a sign of its time.

Music arranged & conducted by Mike Curb, Harley Hatcher, Dave Allan and the Arrows. Produced and directed by Roger Corman. Written by Charles Griffith. Starring: Peter Fonda, Nancy Sinatra, Bruce Dern, Diane Ladd and members of Hell’s Angels of Venice, California. CONDITION: Vinyl= Excellent. Cover= Very Good - some breakage on upper seam and small piece of tape at lower right seam.
2) WILD ANGELS – VOL. 2 (1967) – (Tower-T-5056) More music composed for the original soundtrack of the American International Picture. Music composed and conducted by Mike Curb, Harley Hatcher, Davie Allen. Cast: Davie Allen and the Arrows, Hands of time, Joe Leahy. CONDITION: Vinyl= Excellent. Cover= Very Good plus.
