Description

Please be aware of our postage rates BEFORE you place a bid!

On offer is:

THE WIMPLE WINCH

Save my soul/Everybody's worried 'bout tomorrow (Fontana TF 718)

Original UK copy from 1966.
This belongs in the A division of freakbeat-ism, and needs no further description...
The record has been bootlegged, but these are easily distinguished by the open centre.
As you can see on the scan this has the original centre-piece still in place - it's 100% an authentic, original pressing!
The top side Save my soul is excellent - the flipside has a tiny mark, which causes a crackle for a second or two, but nothing more serious than that and certainly doesn't jump!
It comes in a new Fontana labelsleeve.

ATTENTION!
If you collect rare and unusual 60's singles have a look at the other titles I have on eBay this week!

A few people have asked me to give a closer description, so here we go: Save my soul looks excellent. By that I mean it's not a factory fresh, new and mint record, but in fantastically kept condition over the years, but played. And I have just played it another time (Pioneer PL 520 through a Luxman 507X) and I can only conclude that it plays even better than that, let's say excellent++. The B-side has these "marks": two that can be seen but not even felt and have no influence whatsoever on the sound. One spot can be felt faintly and gives the crackling sound in the background for a second or two. They do not cause upfront clicks (never mind jumps), but I repeat, they can be felt faintly and can be heard in the background. If you have any more questions, please let me know.
