I am selling some of the records I've had for many years in my great collection. FIVE LIVE, by The Yardbirds is not only one of the first British Invasion LP's, but also a great live album that features the amazing talent of a very young Eric Clapton.
If there was one way to grab this LP, it would be with this UK mono pressing on the Blue/Black label. The sound jumps off the table. The cover is a flip back by Garrod & Lofthouse and is in mint condition, and the spine is perfect. There are no split seams or dented corners. This is the real deal. The original inner is missing, but the LP will arrive in a new polly lined inner sleeve. Some spindle marks are noticeable on the labels, mostly on side 2. The labels are intact and beautiful. The run offs end in 1N on both sides. The vinyl is in beautiful Near Mint Condition, and the LP retains a beautiful original shine with no hairlines, scratches, or dings of any kind at all. It looks as if you had just opened a new LP. So, it's very difficult to find an LP like this in such great condition. Lets face it, the music was great, and everyone played this LP to death.
I love original original pressings because I feel every LP is of it's time and place. The vinyl, and record pressings are all from that moment in time, and no re-pressing or re-mastering will ever make the sound better for me.
