The Youngbloods released their self-titled debut "The Youngbloods" in 1967 on RCA Victor Records. The first single was "Grizzly Bear" but it and the album only achieved modest success. The single "Get Together" followed but was also largely ignored until it was rereleased in June 1969 and became an enormous counter-cultural anthem reaching No. 5 on the charts.

This copy of (LSP-3724) is from the First Pressing and is in good condition. The seams on the cover are solid and do show some wear and have a bit of writing but I still rate this 54-year-old record as VG+. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and is VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was recorded and mastered at RCA Victor's Studio B in NYC and this copy was pressed at the RCA Records plant in Hollywood, Calif. The Side One dead wax is stamped TPRS-7503 - - 2S H.

This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 54 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
