Description
Available here is an original 7" demo/promo single by The Zombies - Friends of Mine b/w Beechwood Park. It was issued in the UK by CBS in 1967 and has the catalogue number 2960.
Vinyl Condition - Excellent. The vinyl is bright and clean and certainly free from any worrying scratches to the playing area. There is a single light mark to the A-Side and an edge scratch along the run in to the B-side but neither affects the sound. Having listened to both tracks, I can confirm that there is no jumping or sticking and almost no crackle or hiss.
Sleeve Condition - Very Good. Original sleeve with split and loss along the top front edge and a one-inch closed side split. There are also the remains of a small label on the front and a small patch of tape residue on the back.
For a short sample of both songs from the actual record, please click the audio link below.
Pictures of the disc and sleeves can be found at the bottom of the page, while even larger scans of the disc can be sent on request.
Synopsis - Featuring two songs by Chris White, this was the twelfth single by the Zombies. Friends of Mine is a sprightly and pleasant enough song but seemingly failed to make an impression on the UK charts.

It is not my intention to profit from postage. If possible I use good clean recyclable material but I also buy bubble wrap, brown paper, packing tape and glue and all items are well wrapped and protected before posting. Items are also weighed and postage calculated before I list at auction and a small percentage of the charge does go towards packing costs. - See About Me for further general despatch information.
