A RESPECTABLE EXAMPLE OF THIS OBSCURE ZOMBIES 1968 ALBUM RELEASE.

Collectors will know that this album is a huge rarity and hardly ever shows up. This one is not in top condition, nevertheless it is a respectable playable example so please read the description and see the scans of the album and sleeve carefully before placing a bid.

The Zombies are an English rock band, formed in 1962 in St Albans UK, and led by Rod Argent (piano, organ and vocals) and Colin Blunstone (vocals). The group scored British and American hits in 1964 with "She's Not There". In the US, two further singles, "Tell Her No" in 1965 and, in 1969, "Time of the Season", were also successful. Their 1968 album, Odessey and Oracle, comprising twelve songs by the group's principal songwriters, Rod Argent and Chris White, is ranked number 100 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

Both record labels are in Very Good to Very Good Plus condition, the labels show several signs of play around the centre or each label, and side 1 record label has a couple of scratches.

Side 1 matrix lettering are SBPG 63280 A2 and Side 2: SBPF 63280 B2.
Both sides of the Vinyl disc are in Very Good condition, (with side 2 slightly better than side 1 with less surface scratches). The vinyl surfaces show several surface hairlines and scratches.

Having played the LP it play’s with a great, clear sound quality, there is light background crackle from the start and the odd click, there are no skips though, there is a definite sounding click at the end of the side 2 track Friends of Mine.

The LP comes in it’s original CBS Records printed inner bag which is an excellent example, NO handwriting or tearing, and NO seam splits to any of the edges.

The LP is housed in its original Issue Front Laminated glossy picture sleeve, the sleeve is in overall Very Good condition, there are no tears or damage to the sleeve with just corner bumps and light wear to the edges and a couple of creases.

The reverse of the sleeve is clean with light handling signs, there is STEREO sticker at the top.

A respectable example of this very rare UK Stereo album release from The Zombies.
