Description

A superb condition bound volume of all 12 issues of 'Theatre World' Magazine for 1935 - and what a year for shows! 'Jill Darling' with John Mills and Frances Day, Ivor Novello's 'Glamorous Night', Gielgud's 'Hamlet' and a fantastic 15-page photo section on Lew Leslie's 'Blackbirds OF 1935' inc. mulitple photos of Valaida, Edith Wilson, Peg Leg Bates, Nyas Berry and most of the key cast members, most of which have never been reprinted! Each 48 page magazine has been bound with its covers into a grey cloth covered board with green cloth spines with black leather and gold tooled title panel. CONDITION: Near Mint!
