For auction is THELONIOUS MONK's "Monk's Dream," on Columbia CL 1965, MONO, Promo Edition, 1963. With Charlie Rouse, John Ore and Frankie Dunlop.
SOUND: NM
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Brilliant, powerful playback, very clean! To be super-critical, I heard maybe 3 or 4 random, insignificant tics on the entire playback. Zero background noise! Doesn't get much better!
VINYL: NM
Visually, the vinyl is lovely, with no scuffs or marks I can see. It is very glossy and clean, with only a few very faint smudges or fingerprints. The labels are white Columbia ("2-eye") "promo" edition. Labels are brilliant and clean, no flaws.
JACKET: VG+
The spine and edges are solid and in very nice condition. The corners have minimal routine wear, with the lower right having a tiny bump. There is a Columbia Records banner across the bottom front, and a "New Star" sticker above that. The rest of the front is in very good condition, with a couple light scuffs at top. The back is very clean, unmarked and in great condition.

The vinyl and playback are near-perfect! No reserve, bidding starts at $25.
Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
