Description
THELONIOUS / Thelonious Monk Trio PRESTIGE PRLP 142 10". I listened to the lp several times. Side A plays nicely with very light background noise. On Side B, TRACK ONE has 3 repetitive clicks late in the song. TRACK TWO has 15 repetitive clicks starting at the beginning of the song. And TRACK 4 has some static and clicks in the last 7 seconds of the song. Other than the issues I've pointed out, side 2 plays well with light background noise. There are no skips. The few songs with clicks play thru them. The background noise is well below the sound of the piano, so it does not interfere with the listenability. Visually, the lp looks like it would grade about VG. (side A - VG/VG+ /// side B - VG). You can see the mark (scratch) on side B, Track 2 which cause the clicks and it's barely feelable. The labels are VG++. The jacket front is pretty clean, but it's not perfectly white. There is a mark in the lower right where a sticker was pulled off. The rear is brown along the edges but looks good. There is some tape along the top and left sides, but the tape is clean and mostly clear. The scans will show what I have explained.
This is an auction for US residents only. No international sales. I use a grading system of M (sealed) / NM / VG++ / VG+ / VG / VG- / G / F. I do NOT use excellent (EX) as a grade.
