Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my Beatles, Rolling Stones and some progressive records that are form my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, a very rare first 1966 U.K. MONO pressing of Them – Them Again on the RED UNBOXED Decca label, cat. no. LK 4751.
The record is in VG condition, there are quite a lot of non – sounding hairlines and a couple surface marks and scratches, some of those are audible. The labels are in VG+ condition, there are some spindle marks and there is some slight wear around the spindle holes.
The cover is in VG condition, there are some marks in the lamination of the front, there is some very slight ring wear and a rather big retailer’s sticker on the back. Further there are pinprick holes in the four corners. I think the previous owner has stuck this cover to his wall. Further this cover still looks very presentable, there is no other damage than mentioned above.
The record comes with an original “Handling and Playing” Decca inner sleeve, which is in VG to VG minus condition. There are some small pieces missing from the top seam, there is a tear of approx 2 cm on the die cut hole on the front and it suffers from age browning.
Although this record is not in dream Mint condition, this original U.K. pressing of Them’s second album, Them Again is extremely hard to find. This is your chance to complete your Them or Van Morrison collection. Happy Bidding!
