Here it is!! The THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS Wiggle Diskette 7" FLEXI RECORD w/ picture sleeve, their 1st Single from 1985 with songs "Everything is Wrong" & " You'll Miss Me". This was their first record put out by the band in 1985 and limited edition of only 1000 copies of which even less still survive today (they used to tape this to telephone polls back in 1985 as a promotional tool so how many survive is unknown, but rarely comes up for sale on Ebay, within last 10 years only a handful have come up for sale with prices increasing with every sale).
This is a 7" flexi, plays one 1-side only. Play side looks pretty clean, VG+ (sorry about glare on the record, from my camera flash), has just a few light marks that are mostly on the trail-off area. Comes with the sleeve, which is definitely the rarest part of the record. The sleeve was made with separate front and back pieces with a cardboard piece in between. Sleeve is in pretty nice shape with just some light wear on top with a tiny/tiny tear near middle top, light crease upper right hand corner area.
Back cover has an old telephone number on it written with 718 area code, which is from New York area and was the number for the The Might Be Giants "dial a song" program, its possible one of the band members wrote that on the back of the sleeve, who knows!! Must have for any They Might Be Giants fan, a true piece of history in the foundation of the band!!
