An RSD reno of Washington duo Thievery Corporation's fourth studio album, this new 2xLP edition of The Cosmic Game is a thumping throwback to its initial release in February 2005, when post-trip-hop and electronic sounds rubbed against a well chosen landscape of indie collaborators, from The Flaming Lips to David Byrne and Perry Farrell. Primary Wave here reissues the album as a red double LP, commemorating its 20th anniversary. The original record moves seamlessly between downtempo grooves and global influences, from the anthemic 'Marching The Hate Machines (Into The Sun)' with The Flaming Lips to David Byrne's appearance on 'The Heart's A Lonely Hunter.'
