Description
Here is a Thin Lizzy Shades of a Blue Orphanage UK 1st pressing LP from 1972 on Decca Records. It has catalogue number- TXS.108 and the correct green stereo Decca 1st press labels. The blue labels were later pressings and these green labels were the very 1st press. It has ZAL-11209P-2 matrix on a side and ZAL-11210P-3 matrix on the b side. The disc has a lovely nice glossy lustre and apart from a small feint mark on side a which is not audible and does not affect playback- it is visually NM both sides I have play tested this LP on my Thorens TD160 turntable as seen in the 12 photos and it plays lovely NM with really punchy audio with no issues whatsoever both sides. There are some feint spindle marks on the labels and a name written neatly on the B side label and the labels have p1972 at 6 o clock. The gatefold sleeve is printed in England by Robert Stace and is very clean and it has a nice fully legible spine and nice opening edge and is graded easily EX. It has the correct 2-72 dated poly lined inner sleeve that has had some writing top left.
