Description
Thin Lizzy: "Shades Of A Blue Orphanage" 1972, UK/Decca TXS 108. Disc is M-, gatefold cover has no wear, but the corner at the top of the spine has a crease, still EX to M-. Matrix numbers are A= ZAL 11209.P-2 and B= ZAL 11209.P-3. Blue-grey labels have no spindle marks on side B, one small mark on side A, suggesting this LP was only played one time, and carefull at that. Has a poly-lined Company inner sleeve with a 2-73 date code on it. Spectacular early UK press of their second album with "Buffalo Gal", "Baby Face", "Call The Police", etc. Clodagh Simonds of Mellow Candle guests on keyboards. Check out "Baby Face" via this YouTube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lbi9BM7bQBw
Be sure to view my other iamthewitch auctions as I have more stuff like this up for grabs this week.
Everything I offer is guaranteed. I try to note any flaws with the disc and the cover so that there are no surprises when the box arrives. If you have any questions, feel free to send me an email.
I ship all records in strong cardboard mailers with cardboard flats added to increase stability. The discs are always removed from the jackets to prevent seam splits, and all albums are dressed in plastic sleeves for travel. Please be aware that these supplies are expensive to purchase and represent a small portion of my shipping charges. I pack/ship one day per week, usually it is Friday.
