Description
A great opportunity to buy an ORIGINAL copy of a VINYL LP from the 1960’s by Third Ear Band called "Alchemy".
This is a U.K. issue released in 1969 on the collectable Harvest label (SHVL 756) (stereo). It has a total of 8 tracks (see photos for track listing).
The matrix numbers are: - SHVL 756 A-1 (side one) and SHVL 756 B-1 (side two).
The vinyl is in a lovely clean and shiny EXCELLENT condition. I always grade and examine records under a bright table lamp and there are a few light surface marks evident. Upon playing the whole album, I can report that side one plays fine, but with the odd click audible, especially between tracks. On the first track on side two, the music has a very quiet passage and part way through this track, some crackle is noticeable and light surface noise for several revolutions. The remainder of side two plays the same as side one. The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition visually, but with the small blemish on the opening track of side two, one has to accept that the record overall is good.
There are a few spindle marks noticeable on the label when tilted towards the light, but apart from this, the labels are completely clean and free from any writing, marks or major defects (see photos). There is a Factory Sample sticker on the label of side one (see photo).
The record is perfectly flat and has no warps of any description.
The record is housed in a plain inner sleeve in EXCELLENT condition.
The laminated gatefold picture cover is in an EXCELLENT condition. The edges and spine are still strong and the text on the spine is clearly readable (see photo). There is just some very minor shelf wear at the top and bottom of the spine. Inside the gatefold is clean and undamaged.
