Description

Collectable Thirsty Moon self-titled debut album from 1972. This is a lovely Germany 1st press issue record on the green Brain Metronome label. Considered a classic in Krautrock. Described as Prog Rock, Psych and Jazz-Rock with a unique spin to their fusion-based music.

1st pressings have Metronome on green label, runouts correct also: Matrix / Runout (Side A runout): st-1021-A (0664.200 s1) PF Matrix / Runout (Side B runout): st-1021-B (0664.200 s2) PF

Vinyl Grade: +VG, a high +VG, lovely gloss, each side has some hairlines and some very light lines/marks, nothing that stands out and nothing that you would expect to hear, but a few too many for an EX grade.

Sound Quality: +VG, has light surface noise that is more noticeable in intro/endings and some quite music sections and overall does not detract from the great sounding music, fully play tested loud.

Cover: EX excellent gatefold cover, no edge wear, edges are crisp and straight, flat, no ring wear on front, light ring wear on back, laminated surface has light scuffing viewed under a strong light, lower left corner of right side inside gatefold has a small area of age surface deterioration see last photo.

Labels: clear, no spindle wear.

Records graded directly under very bright table light for the visual grade. Sound quality checked by playing to ensure that visual grade and sound quality are consistent.

Mint M and Near Mint NM: Looks perfect as new. N and NM is only appropriate for new reissue records and not for vintage vinyl that has been played, regardless of how perfect it may look.

Excellent Plus +EX: Lovely gloss, no visible scratches, scuffs or marks. Has been played but has been handled well and still in great condition. (highest grade that I use for vintage vinyl)

Excellent EX: Lovely gloss, shows some slight signs of wear, including light trace/hairlines from the inner sleeve, light scuffs or very light marks that you would not expect to hear as surface noise.

Very Good Plus +VG: Shows a few more very light marks than is allowable for EX so not quite EX. These signs of use would be expected to cause some light surface noise but not to detract from the music.

Very Good VG: Shows light scratches and marks and some that you would expect to cause surface noise, especially in soft passages, between tracks and during a song?s intro and ending but not so much as to overpower the music which can still be enjoyed.

Very Good Minus -VG: Shows significant wear and marks that you would expect to cause noticeable surface noise that detracts from the music.

Good G: In the record world, 'Good' is not good! From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about beat-up records lacking much of the original gloss and with many scratches and marks that you would expect to cause very noticeable surface noise and clicks/pops that seriously detract from enjoyment of the music.

Postage: is with Australia Post and a tracking number is added to the Ebay listing. Aust Post insurance is included for a parcel lost or damaged with compensation up to $100 plus a postage refund.

Payment: thanks within 7 days of purchase.
