Description

THIS IS BUDDAH MINT 1969 LP Eire Apparent Impressions Calliope

This Is Buddah.

Superb 1969 Sampler LP which features a mixed bag of rock, soul, folk etc.

1969 UK pressed Buddah Records stereo LP housed in front laminated sleeve, 643 310.

Earliest heavy pressing with black and silver labels and A#1 1 1 and B#1 1 1 matrix numbers.

A moderately scarce LP to be found in clean condition, this one is a stunning example and hardly even appears played.

Vinyl in strong near mint condition, my highest grade. Even after inspection with a magnifying glass I can detect no spider trail marks around the centre spindle areas, and the labels are bright and glossy as new. The vinyl surfaces are superbly clean and also with an as new gloss still. There are no marks save for one or two of the very lightest and tiniest of superficial and non-sounding sleeve removal type hairline scuffs, and these only visible with examination using a magnifying glass.

Labels are clean and undefaced, and still bright as new.

Poly lined white paper inner sleeve is original and in clean and unbrowned condition without splits. A small and neat penned number to one top corner.

Outer sleeve has "Printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd., London, W.11" to bottom of rear. Sleeve is extremely well preserved, and aside from just a tad of rubbing to the rear is also close to a near mint grade. Else there is little to fault with the sleeve. Totally free of marks or stains, and the laminated front panel still has an as new lustre which the photo does not really do justice to. There are not even any invisible digs or depressions seen when the sleeve is inspected at close quarters, bar just a very few of the tiniest of wispy single hairlines. Else the laminate is completely unblemished. Seams, tips and entry side are totally unblemished. The pinched ends spine is in superb shape and not compressed in the slightest.

Interestingly the rear of the sleeve features the Lemon Pipers, who do not actually feature on the LP.

In summary a superbly preserved final upgrade LP which should please even the most demanding of collectors.
