The Best Of Thompson Twins: Greatest Mixes is the first compilation album released by the British pop group the Thompson Twins. It was released in 1988, and features various 12" mixes and remixes of classic Thompson Twins songs.
FUN FACT: The band's name was based on the two bumbling detectives Thomson and Thompson (who are close doubles, not twins) in the English-language version of The Adventures of Tintin (Les aventures de Tintin).
Released toward the end of the group's run on Arista, The Best Of Thompson Twins: Greatest Mixes really functions more as a retrospective than remix album. Hit after Hit after Hit…. 😊
THIS COPY is a 1st pressing from 1988 on the Arista label (see Notes, below).
The vinyl, per a test listen, is in Very Good Plus [VG+] or better condition.
The original cover, still in the cellophane and with a hype sticker, is in Excellent [EX] condition.
