Our special, varied collection of Film & TV Soundtrack Recordings and Cast Recording LPs has been well-preserved with vinyl that is mostly in Near Mint or Mint condition. Stored in a non-smoking environment, we have in stock a wonderful sampling of memorable stage, film and TV productions! We indicate catalog number, release year, Stereo or Mono, Double LPs or Boxed Sets, unique and rare Promotional, Demo cut, Sample or Special DJ copies, Gatefolds (always pictured), Sealed or Un-played, original company sleeves, and we cite and identify special inserts, booklets and other press materials. Some were actually used at radio stations KNBR and KFRC here in the San Francisco Bay Area and those specific markings and notations are either pictured or noted in our descriptions. We like the extra added historical import of records that were handled in this manner, and we hope you do as well! All our records are original pressings unless otherwise noted. THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE Original Soundtrack Album WLP with extra RADIO SPECIAL PROMO LP (Decca 1500-1967). Here we have a UNIQUE set, nearly one-of-a-kind. We are thrilled to offer up Elmer Bernstein’s Oscar Winning score, with additional original music and lyrics by James Van Heusen and Sammy Cahn (“The Tapioca” and the title song), and starring the incomparable Julie Andrews. In this set you will receive the entire album of music in VERY GOOD CONDITION (we do note light scratches on both sides, and the Side 1 label has DJ tape and notations in black marker) with a VERY GOOD+ GATEFOLD cover and sleeve (DJ notations on the reverse titles) including “a handsome bound-in, behind-the-scenes 8-page full color brochure” (also excellent except for the top staple has come loose but could be easily fixed) and in its ORIGINAL DECCA COMPANY SLEEVE. We also include the bonus RADIO SPECIAL PROMO LP of 36 short-duration tracks in VERY GOOD condition (we note one very faint scratch on Side 2 and very minor blemishes on the first two tracks of Side 1, otherwise fine) featuring JULIE ANDREWS, ANDRE PREVIN (arranger) and ELMER BERNSTEIN. This was an extremely popular film musical, and we underscore that this is HIGHLY COLLECTIBLE but be advised that the VINYL IS FAR FROM MINT, but if you can overlook its few flaws, this is a must-have for Andrews fans or anyone who loves special DJ promotional materials from the era. Also featuring Mary Tyler Moore, John Gavin and Carol Channing.
