THREE MAN ARMY - A Third of a Lifetime LP
Label: Tapestry
Following the breakup of Gun, the Gurvitz brothers formed a new power trio with Mike Kelley (Spooky Tooth) and set out to produce the definitive hard rock LP under the name, Three Man Army. The album begins with the Devil-like Butter Queen before moving through a series of moods and styles (instrumentals - Midnight with Buddy Miles and Third of A Lifetime - flamenco guitar stylings). Other tracks include Together (with a Stairway To Heaven solo), Another Day, a country like rocker with excellent guitar work. Adrian Gurvitz is both fast and tasty with excellent notes selection. This is without a doubt an incredible album where the Gurvitz brothers rock like like you wouldn't believe. If you are a music lover of good hard rock then this will definitely blow your mind. Highly Recommended!
