THUNDER AND ROSES – “King of the Black Sunrise” (1969) United Artists-74011 original pressing with pink and orange label Strong VG+/EX (cover/record)
Aweomse heavy psych power trio very much in the mold of The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Cream, featuring Chris Bond on guitar and lead vocals, Tom Schaffer on bass, and Goerge Emme on drums. Lots of killer cuts here, featuring “White Lace and Stramge,” “I Love a Woman,” “Country Life,” “Red House” (a cover of Hendrix), “Moon Child,” “Dear Dream Maker,” “King of the Black Sunrise,” and the 7-minute “Open Up Your Eyes.” Totally killer and it doesn’t turn up much.
This is an original copy. The cover is nice with only light ring wear, a cut corner, 7-inces of clear tap on the top seam from the jacket opening in and 3-inches of clear tape on the bottom seam by the jacket opening in. The original pressing vinyl is super clean and glossy with just a few light sleeve scuffs – it plays great. Conservative grading: VG+/EX (cover/record).

I package all LPs securely in record mailers and remove the vinyl from the covers to prevent seam splits during mailing. I do not just stick your record in a priority mailer box from the post office or between two thin pieces of cardboard with no additional packaging materials like so many others!!!
