A very strong original US Private Press press of this thick guitar laden heavy Prog / Psych Rock number. A very solid affair of sinister killer organ grinding guitar blasting prog psych rock, which is regarded as a growing classic and one that is consistently featuring in many collections due to it's achievements and rarity.. This is a guaranteed original and on a Private label. All round decent stuff and worth picking up.
Disc grades overall ex- (excellent minus). visually vg+ (very good plus) as it has been played but only shows the odd paper hairline and no heavy scratches. There is a slight undulation (very minor warping) on the platter but this does not affect play, hence overall I see the disc visually as vg+ but plays through a good ex (excellent) so overall downgraded to ex- (excellent minus) on balance. There were no clicks, pops, or crackles affecting play. Play reveals an onslaught of heavy prog psych moves with blasting guitars and organ work in the mix.. The disc is playing through clear to blow out your mind! The record is clean overall.
The cover is in fantastic strong excellent ex+ (excellent plus) condition as it retains all of it's freshness still in original shrink, please see photographs... the front cover art is in itself a document of captivity, using the art of illusion geometry to captivate your mind and pull you into the inner sanctum.. The cover still retains a strong, bold sharp image which is clean, the spine and seams remain crisp & sharp with a smooth fresh finish, overall looking very nice.
The labels are very clean overall with no evidence of spindle wear.
EXTRA : This is a very nice piece of heavy prog psych rock which is competently executed..and wait.. it comes with the original inner sheet too!!. A worthwhile addition to any collection..
