Description

A most unusual and mysterious sound from this midwest band mixes rock, westcoast, prog, bluesfuzz, even some sinister Traffic style jazzy moves...strange lyrics, too. Opening track "You're Not The Only One" is a classic, stalking riff, way out with progressive undercurrents, other tracks have rural westcoast guitar style with a hint of Moby Grape in the vocals, bluesy fuzz guitar shoots in and out, bohemian flute pasages...a unique sound that is perfectly matched by the weird cover art of sailor pulling fiddler in wagon on a beach where tide is out and odd stuff is scattered in the sand like a jar with a fetus in it, a cow skull...I once used this art on one of my '80s catalogs. Issued on Mouth Music # 7237S private pressing from Kansas early '70s era. Strong Ex/M- condition. These guys are off in their own world, can't think of another LP to file next to this one!
