THERE ARE 2 PRESSINGS OF THIS ALBUM ON THE GOLD (TAN) ELEKTRA LABEL.
THE ORIGINAL, 1ST PRESSING - SUCH AS THIS COPY -
HAD GATEFOLD COVERS MADE OF THICK, HARD CARDBOARD, WIDE SPINE
WITH BUCKLEY`S SEPIA & WHITE PHOTO ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE GATEFOLD,
IN STANDING, UPRIGHT POSITION.
THE ORIGINAL PRESSINGS ALSO HAD A "4-DIGIT" CATALOG NUMBER (7318)
THE 2ND PRESSING ON THE GOLD (TAN) LABEL HAD THE SO-CALLED "UNIPAC" COVERS
(ONE SIDE OF THE COVER HOLDS THE RECORD LIKE A REGULAR COVER,
THE OTHER ONE IS A SINGLE-PLY CARDBOARD WHICH FOLDS OVER LIKE A GATEFOLD)
THE 2ND HAD BUCKLEY`S COLOR PHOTO ON THE RIGHT SIDE IN SITTING POSITION,
AND ALSO THE 2ND HAD A "5-DIGIT" CATALOG NUMBER (74028).
THIS IS THE ORIGINAL, AUTHENTIC, FIRST US 1967 PRESSING.
NOT A REISSUE, OR A COUNTERFEIT PRESSING.
Cover : Ex Comes with Elektra original inner bag. Some light wear, tear and creases on edges and corners.
The catalog has torn off at one corner (see pics). Small blue round sticker on top right corner of the front.
Vinyl : Ex- Light paper scuffs. Some Light crackles on track 1 and 4 of side 1, track 1 and 4 of side 2.
Otherwise plays fine.
Grading is basically by visual inspection, but being a long-time record collector, I've gotten pretty good at it.
I will mention honestly if I play graded, which I do if it seems necessary.
