TIM BUCKLEY: Goodbye & Hello UK 1st press 1967 Electra/Polydor EKL 318 MONO LP
The disc is in good condition. This record is 47 years old but has not been played for at least 20 years. There are some superficial surface marks on the disc and some audible surface sound on the track run ins and some quieter some passages*. The cover has some marks, creasing and signs of storage/ring wear. There is a 3M Magic tape repair to prevent further deterioration to damage on the spine. The inner sleeve includes the credits and song lyrics. Please see the photographs.
*A record of this age however well stored will collect a certain amount of dust and specks of paper fibre from the inner sleeve. As far as possible I remove any surface dust with a carbon fibre brush and lens cleaning cloth and then describe the condition of the disc after a test play.
I have achieved impressive enhanced reproduction quality almost eliminating any surface noise on records of a similar age by a thorough wet clean with a solution of isopropyl alcohol and distilled water.
This LP was test played on a Garrard 401 turntable with SME arm and Shure V15 cartridge/stylus with a tracking force of 1 gram.
