THE TIMES Art Goes Pop (Art Pop 20, 1982)
The twee side of UK early-80s-mod and along with the first couple of TV-Ps records the finest example of that special genre. This here comes in quite possibly the nices hand-made cover-variants of this LP that I have laid eyes upon so far (not that many to beginn with), as it's been drawn by Andrew Ball who I'd assume was Ed Ball's brother (right?). But that's not the only special thing about this record: I'll also incl xerox' of the elusive lyric book to the album with many artiworks and obviously words to the music.
The best thing however is that this copy stems from an long-defunct mailorder operation and has been sitting on a shelf for the past decades. Hence:
