7" vinyl single issued in the UK on Deram DM164 in 1967
Condition of the record is Near Mint

[I never use a 'Mint' grading unless the item is new, unplayed or sealed. Nor do I use Excellent]
Simply... awesome. Naturally this is an authentic original copy, not a cheap modern repro. A much-prized 45 from my personal collection.
Deadwax text is (Aside) XDR-41691-TI-IC and (B side) XDR-41692-TI-IC
A-side label has library number in black ink, and date (30/11/67) in blue ink. B-side label has library number in black ink. Dinkable centre. Demonstration copy.
The record is clean and shiny with light paper scuffs. A-side plays VG++ with a few light crackles at the intro. B-side plays a stunning M-. Very slight edgewarp which does not affect play (see video link below).
Some will argue the case for One In A Million, others for the Factory. But amazing as those records are, they really don't quite match the ethereal brilliance of the Tintern Abbey 45. And of course both sides are equally fantastic, which is rare for this genre.
This is a marvellous clean copy which I have owned for almost three decades. The time has come for it to find a new home. It's taken me five years to work my way through to the last handful of records in my '60s collection, and clearly this was going to be the toughest one to part with. No turning back now though.
The record has a very slight edgewarp, but plays perfectly as you can see and hear, er, here:

There is a light crackle on the intro of the A-side, but the musically superior flipside also happens to play better. Just about perfect I'd say. Still housed in the original Deram company bag.
